RC drivers thank NDP

Haji Imran (left) and Chua Kang Ong (2nd from left) thank NDP for the support. Hajah Raiyah , Head of NDP's Bureau for Culture, Arts and Heritage and Mahdi HS, Director of Arts and Culture welcomed the duo on behalf of NDP.

The sponsored RC drivers paid a visit to NDP headquarters in Jerudong to show their appreciation for the support that NDP had given them.

The gesture was initiated by the RC drivers, Hj Irman Suhardi Hj Mashud, Chua Kang Ong and Mohd Julahi Hj Duming. However Mohd Julahi was unable to attend. He however sent his regards, gratitude and best wishes to NDP.

Hjh Rayah Md Ali, a Supreme Council Member and the Head of Arts, Culture and Heritage Bureau, as well as Mahadi Hj Mohd Suhaili, the Director of Arts and Culture were there to greet the drivers on behalf of NDP.

“We would like to thank NDP for their support and sponsor for us RC drivers to the FUTABA Championship in Indonesia,” said Chua Kang Ong formally.

Hj Irman said that this is the best result that Brunei has ever gotten in the FUTABA Championship since it first started in 2001. The duo then briefed, Hjh Rayah, and Mahadi on their journey and their struggle during the FUTABA championship.

“We have a great potential, we have the skill, unfortunately our equipment is below par, if our equipment was on par with the competition and we would’ve gotten a higher standing than we already have” said Hj Irman.

Hjh Rayah and Mahadi congratulated the driver’s achievements and hope that they will continue to strive for the pride of the Nation by winning or getting high standings in such high calibre and prestigious international competitions
