NDP plans to set up 2 subdivisions in Brunei Muara

 
 

LIMBARUH HIJAU OCTOBER 19, 2006: The National Development Party (NDP) is planning to form two new subdivisions in Brunei Muara District.

The plan to set up the subdivisions in Lumapas and Sengkurong B was discussed on Monday at a meeting attended by some 50 members from the two areas.

Haji Mohamad Penghulu Haji Abu Bakar, a member of NDP Advisory Board who was invited as the chief guest reminded NDP members rom the two areas to work hard for the party.

We wanted to present the nation to the future generation as an independent and sovereign country which has been and will be forever ruled by His Majesty and his descendents.

“We must also work hard to improve the nation’s standing in the international political arena to earn the respect of global nations,” he said.

The event was also attended by the party’s Vice President for Brunei Muara Haji Umar Tamin.

Meahwhile, the organising chairman Dr Hajah Rayah Md Ali urged members of from the two proposed subdivisions to be united to uphold party vision, missions and objectives towards the sovereignty of the ruler, race and country.

“It is now time for all of us to enjoy the real meaning of independence. The formation of ranting is needed to enable the party to reach grass roots level in order to analyse problems and issues,” she said.
