BELAIT THURSDAY: Vice President of NDP Belait, Awang Sulaiman Metarshad presented donation of $500 and two bags of rice to the Dayang Hajah Lantai Ahmad, a fire victim in Kg Mumong.
Major (rtd) Haji Mohd Daud bin Haji Mohd Jamil the Head of NDP Security and Emergency Bureau accompanied the Vice President to present the donations
Her house was ravaged by fire on the 22nd May 2006. Dayang Hjh Lantai and her children were left homeless and at present they have to live with relatives.

Awang Sulaiman hoped that the small donation collected by members of NDP in the Belait district will help ease her burden.
“The party will continue to help out those in need especially in terms of rice distribution and other necessities,” said the Vice President.
This project was a spin off from the charity project which was initialised during the
National Day Celebration last February.
