LIMBARUH HIJAU NOVEMBER 15, 2006: Bruneians who fled the country and went on exile in neighboring countries over two decades ago because of their political conviction during the nation’ struggle for full independence and sovereignty were told to remain patriotic towards the nation, the people and the monarchy.
“You had made your sacrifices for the nation. You are a living history in the nation's struggle for full independence and sovereignty. It is therefore important for all of you to continue upholding your undivided love and loyalty to the nation, its people and the monarchy; the patriotic spirit that had once compelled all of you to leave the country and lived as exiles”, advised sdra Mahmud Morshidi Othman, the Deputy President of the National Development Party (NDP) to over 30 former student activists and politicians at a recent ‘bertahlil’ ceremony. It was held at Limbaruh Hijau n Jerudong. |
